Are your plumbers licensed?

Are you H&S certified?

Quotations, Pricing & Payment
Do you provide free quotes?
We offer free, no-obligation quotes for planned work and renovations, as we want to ensure we can provide the assurance of a fixed price and accurate pricing.
Important Note: For emergency or diagnostic jobs, a standard call-out fee applies. In an instance where we need to carry out investigative work to assess and quote on something, this preparatory work will be chargeable. We will always provide transparent pricing upfront so there are no surprises.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
Yes, a standard call-out fee applies to cover travel and initial inspection for urgent or diagnostic jobs.
What payment options do you accept?
We accept EFTPOS, credit card, and online payments. Account options are available for regular commercial clients.
Gasfitting
Do you install and service gas appliances?
Yes — our certified gasfitters install, service, and repair gas hot water systems, hobs, heaters,cylinders and BBQ connections. We also handle LPG bottle or natural gas line connections.
Emergency & Availability
Are you available after hours or on weekends?
Yes — we offer a 24/7 365 day emergency plumbing service across Auckland. Whether it’s a burst pipe, gas leak, major drain blockage, or roof leak, we’ll respond quickly to keep your home or business safe and running smoothly.
What should I do if I smell gas?
Turn off the gas supply immediately, open doors and windows, and call us right away on our 24-hour emergency line.

Do you specialise in renovations?
Yes, we specialise in kitchen, bathroom and laundry renovations. We have a consultative approach and are happy to meet with you on-site, or with your builder, to look at the plans and provide a quote for these works. Our team is well-versed in working collaboratively with other trades.
What hot water heating solutions do you offer?
We assist customers with their hot water needs daily. We can help with everything from:

- Outdoor Gas or Electric Cylinders (to create more space in your home)

My water pressure is low — what could be the cause?

Backflow Prevention
How often does my backflow device need testing?
Auckland Council requires annual testing by an approved backflow tester. Laser Plumbing Grey Lynn is IQP certified to carry out both testing and certification.
Do I need a backflow device?
If you have an irrigation system, a commercial kitchen, or certain industrial setups, you likely do. We can assess your risk and install the right device to meet council compliance requirements.
What is backflow and why does it matter?
Backflow occurs when contaminated water flows back into your clean water supply — potentially posing a health risk. It often affects commercial or multi-dwelling properties.
